Calorie Conscious Food At Lean Chef GK 2

Calorie Conscious Food At Lean Chef GK 2

Started with the motive of providing health food offerings with a twist and taking in consideration the dire need of calorie conscious yet tasty food in the market, Lean Chef was born last year in India. They help you munch on lip smacking and delicious recipes that suits your palette. They believe in combining flavors with nutrition and creating a space for general people to feed themselves with goodness of health.

Their menu is comprised of snacks, smoothies, protein shakes, protein pancakes, whole wheat burgers, wheat pastas, low calories pizzas and everything that you would prefer on a daily basis but their nutritional infusion here and there will take you by surprise.

You would not feel guilty after indulging because their promise is to give you food that loves you back. They have a lot of options to choose from and their outlet in Greater Kailash – 2 M Block market is a wonderful place where you can sit, eat and enjoy with family and friends.

The place is a simple area adorned with fitness quotes and lively green add-on’s. They are even planning to refurbish it for more awesomeness in near future. Find below my own experience with the “Lean Chef” –

I started my lunch with a berry blast (75 kal) smoothie which came in a nice mason jar and looked quite heavy and fulfilling in its essence. I loved the taste because of its smooth texture with seeds in between and it left me all energized and rejuvenated. A lovely drink to start with 🙂

Then came the super light “Som Tam” salad which was made with green papaya, roasted peanuts, tomatoes and basil! The salad was loaded with Vitamin C, E & A! The presence of antioxidants burns your calories down and helps you reduce the extra fat deposits! It can be eaten as a great snack and replaced with junk food options like crisps and cookies. For me it was an ultra toothsome meal!

My favorite of them all was this main Rocket Pizza which can be a delight for any veggie lover. The green beauty arrived on the table on a wooden plate and took my heart in a second. I loved the subtle flavors it offered and the crisp slices topped with olives and sun dried tomatoes.

Ended the lunch with a banoffee pie which I would recommend to anyone who loves bananas. It was yummy, soft and relishing all at the same time. A great dessert for the health conscious folks and am sorry I am missing the picture for the same.
