It’s one of those quirky cafes in Hudsane Lane, hidden around the corner that will make you smile wide at the first glance. I found this cute little place through a recommendation of a friend (via askme.com). I couldn’t wait to go ahead and try it for myself and see how happy it can make me. Justifying its name, Mood Swingers has partially replaced the usual sitting chairs and sofas with bright and pretty swings that will make every girl on this planet go crazy. And if you are boy, you will be amazed and impressed by the musical and Bollywood play of interiors.
Its small yet colorful, the creativity is loud and clear with an innovative idea of changing your moods with swings and taking you back to the memories of your childhood. You will fall in love with the display and exhibition of such a positive yet attractive ambiance and it will definitely help you relish a good time with your friends. There is also a sticky wall where you can put back your feedback, suggestions or leave your traces with beautiful messages and quotes.
I went their with a lot of expectations and all I can say is I am fairly impressed by their offerings. I enjoyed the food but I wish their service was a little more organized and mannered. Here’s what all I ate –
I started with a fresh mocktail called “Rose Merry Maar Lo” which came in a tall glass filled with red color beauty. It tasted really great and had a little tangy flavor – which in all means is perfect for beating the summer heat. (INR 89)
My meals are always comprised of lots of veggies and rejuvenating elements, I am sucker for goodness so I began digging the Greek Salad which was your usual combination of lettuce, Romaine, onion, olives, bell peppers, tomatoes, cucumber and feta cheese topped with lemon herb oil and bell paper. It was super healthy and yummy! I can live on this thing!
Next was Shooter Sandwich – A compact combination of spinach and cheese which was to its core delicious and fulfilling. Priced at just INR 99, it was one of the most appetizing things I have had in a while. Also, I loved the presentation!
And lastly, I tasted the “Khalnayak Pasta” which wasn’t up to the mark and was missing the right flavors and smack. If you are a cheese lover, then this place offers a variety of meals where cheese is topped like its free of cost. You must check it out for the fact that it’s new, the concept is intriguing and food has a reasonably good quality considering the economical rates.
If you will ask me, “Was it able to swing my mood”?
Then my answer would be a – Yes 🙂
I would rate it 3.5/5
(INR 600 for two people)
