Weekend Getaway To Kodaikanal Hill Station!

Kodaikanal is a hill town in the state of Tamil Nadu, India. It is often referred as the Princess of hills and I was keen at exploring its beauty to escape the daily chores of life. We all need that little break, re-connection and rejuvenating time to soothe ourselves and energize our system. When my husband offered that we take a mini vacation for ourselves and visit this hill station, I jumped right into it and started packing up.

Nature is the best healer and the best artist you can ever imagine, Kodaikanal has a lot to offer. Its lushΒ greenery, handmade chocolates, amazing views, authentic food and charming weather will mesmerize you. You just need a day or two to relish and immerse in the earthy vibes it has to unveil.

We drove from Bangalore to Kodaikanal journeying through ghat roads and scenic views, munching on fresh fruits and singing bollywood songs to feel a little dramatic. We booked a cottage called “Dream Stay” in the center of the town with bonfire nights, lovely food, happy ambiance and all the touristy attractions nearby. In just a singe day we explored the Pine Forest, Upper Lake View, did cycling around the Kodai Lake and walked a lot to absorb the fresh air and experience the existence of nature!Β

Here is my vlog about it, I hope you like it. Please leave your comments below πŸ™‚
